Okay picture yourself at your favorite store and you are looking at something you are really into and the price looks good, it is on sale and it is the last day of the "sale." You wonder if you can do better on the price on line, but there is no way to go home and check things out on line and get back before the store closes and the sale is over. Plus, what a hassle!
You could do what my wife does, buy it and if you find it cheaper elsewhere...return it. Yet another hassle!
There is a new solution...Google and your cell phone can help you out. That is right Google! Actually, Froogle. Text the words "price (description of what you are oogling over)" to 46645 ("GOOGL). In just a moment you will receive a text message back showing you the best price on line.
But that is not all Google can help you with!
Say you are at a restaurant with friends/family and you decide to go see The Lake House. While you are waiting for your food to come out you can text "The Lake House (your zip code)" and it will send you a text message with where and when the movie is playing in your area.
Weather, driving directions, sports scores, stock quotes, and on-and-on it goes. Just about anything you could find on Google.

The service is free beyond your normal text messaging charges. Meaning if you have a 200 text message plan for $5 a month. You will use 1 text message to send the request and at least 1 for the return from Google (could be more if you request a lot of information). Google doesn't charge you anything.
I promise this will not turn into a tech blog! But I like to pass on "things" that I come across that I think are helpful/cool/great. This is one is all three.
